Who We Are

Hatchery Partners is a design/product development incubator for home décor products. We invest in commercially proven designers and artists to develop innovative new product design concepts. We provide this work to private label and branded clients engaged in the manufacturing, wholesale and retailing of home decor products through licensing agreements.

Through its Design Bank, Hatchery Partners provides a resource for proprietary surface design for home furnishings to retailers, wholesalers, manufacturers, and branded licensors. We accomplish this by investing in original design work from commercially proven artists and developing it into retail-ready merchandise concepts.

Hatchery Partners represents an entirely new kind of creative partnership for designers and their clients. We provide financial sponsorship for the industry's most talented artists and designers and earn revenue from license royalties on original design content. Unlike service bureaus and contract studios, our artists share royalty revenue and participate in the management of copyrights. Unlike traditional licensing agencies, we don't represent artists we aren't willing to invest in ourselves.

Hatchery Partners was founded to promote collaborative relationships with designers. Our artists work in a variety of situations, but have aligned with Hatchery Partners to realize their own personal vision, or to engage new clients for their work. Hatchery Partners chooses designers based upon their proven success at creating trend-right, innovative design content for home furnishings.

With meeting facilities in New York City and design partners with studios in and around New York, Hatchery Partners is aligned with the fashion district’s trend and product development resources.
